Photoshop Designs on Sports Brands

I've been watching a lot of Photoshop typography tutorials and I decided to practice it by designing some ads on sports brands :)

The brands are Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Puma, and Skechers. Please feel free to leave a comment on what I can improve and share it so that these companies will see it :) hopefully. x.

Nike:

I used a teal, light green as the background, and wanted to make it look a bit edgy so I put some melting "stones" above it.

The melting "stones" was actually a rectangle but I liquified it and added a stroke to it.

For the NIKE logo, I did a splice effect because their tagline is "Just do it". So what better way to encourage their audience to follow their guts in an instant by making splice typography?

Adidas:

Since the Adidas shoe in the picture is very colourful, I wanted it to look funky.

With the dark yellow circle masking the shoe, I wanted the shoe to stand out so that their audiences will know that this is the main character.

Also, since the shoe has cow prints on it, I thought about adding some circles to it to complement it.

Reebok:

I wanted to go for a neon-themed ad for Reebok. So that's why the background is mustard yellow, and the green and pink was to add some colour to it.

The tagline box was given an outer glow and an inner glow.

Puma:

Since none of the brands had an ambassador, and I was binge-watching Rihanna videos at that time, I decided to create a Rihanna version.

Rihanna's picture was lightened and multiply, and the light purple colour was done using a lasso tool.

I thought that it was plain, so my boyfriend suggested that I add some water droplets to it and here it is!

Skechers:

I've always thought of Skechers as the chunky and funky type of brand. So, the neon "clouds" were actually paint and I added some outer glow to it!

The typography was glitched, to complement the background and theme.

Oh by the way, the background was actually done using the gradient tool.
