All of these foods are homemade by my mother, the buns and Focaccia are made by using sourdough yeast.
My mom made the carrot cake by adding shredded coconut, walnuts, and sour cream.
It's also on sale in her bakery @dayspringbakes and she provides affordable delivery charges. If you're from Subang Jaya and you like carrot cakes, you should definitely give it a try because the delivery charges are an absolute steal!
It's texture is moist even after two days, and the sour cream balances the sweetness. The shredded coconut and walnuts will keep you chewing for better digestion.
If you're not a fan of carrots, you don't need to worry about it because you won't be able to taste any carrots!
This is an Italian Focaccia made with sourdough.
This Italian dish usually contains cherry tomatoes, but we didn't have any, so my mom replaced them with sausage and onions.
Although it tastes salty, I made it savoury and sour by pairing it with some tomato sauce on the side.
It is crunchy when it's out of the oven, but soft after leaving it out.
If you're looking for a healthier version of pizza, you should definitely give this a try.
This isn't your typical coconut bun. This is a SOURDOUGH coconut bun!
My mom sells sourdough on Instagram, and she's a health enthusiast. Ever since MCO started, she started learning how to make sourdough bread and once she got better with it, she started making healthier buns by replacing normal yeast with sourdough.
The bun is super soft. So soft that it's easy to break apart and fragrant. My mom seasoned the shredded coconut by herself without any preservatives.
